About Glyn Humphries

Before studying Art and Design in England at Swindon, Leicester, London, and at the University of Alberta, Canada, Glyn trained as a mechanical engineer.

Since 1968, he has worked on watercolour paintings, mixed media and photography; establishing a studio at Nelson in 1993.

Expanding his focus in recent years- he explores visual bridges between painting, photography and digital art, blending the forms to create images on paper.

He has exhibited locally in the Kootenays, British Columbia. His graphic design was the grand prizewinner and chosen for the conference: Our People, our Struggle, Our Spirit, in Edmonton in November 1988.
